HE Chaplains Project

Muslim, Jewish, Christian, Hindu and other faith chaplains will meet at St. Ethelburga's Centre for Peace and Reconciliation to tackle extremism on campus and promote better understanding between students.

Key Speakers include: Bill Rammell Higher Education Minister; Imam Admani from London Metropolitan University; Imam Asgar Rajput from Brunel University, Sam McBratney, Christian Chaplain at London Medtropolitan University; Simon Keyes, Director of St. Ethelburgas.

Key speakers included Malcolm Weisman O.B.E, Shaykh Ibrahim Mogra from the Muslim Council of Britain; Hugh Shilson Thomas, National Anglican Adviser Higher Education and Chaplaincy.

Action Plan For Moving Forward: All chaplains said greater inter-connectivity is needed to collectively tackle issues such as extremism on campus.
